About the position

IMT is hiring an experienced Community Manager at IMT Cinco Ranch, a 380-unit luxury community in Katy, Texas. The Community Manager (Property Manager) is the business leader for the property, ensuring a positive working environment, quality community living, and a high standard of operations to meet IMT's objectives. This role involves leading a team of leasing and service associates, driving financial results to meet income and expense goals, and maintaining an open door policy with residents to provide outstanding customer service and build lasting relationships. The Community Manager will also partner with the Service Manager to ensure property site conditions are in good working order with excellent curb appeal. The position requires continuous involvement in the leasing process, including leasing apartment homes, renewing leases, developing team skills, marketing the community, and monitoring market conditions. Additionally, the Community Manager will perform bookkeeping and financial tasks, including rent collection, delinquency management, move-out statements, and financial and variance reports. The role may also include additional projects and duties as assigned by the Regional Manager. Responsibilities

  • Prepare move-out statements and financial variance reports
  • Complete additional projects and/or duties as assigned by Regional Manager

Requirements

  • Multi-family housing management experience
  • Knowledge of property bookkeeping and financials
  • Ability to connect with a variety of people and successfully lead a team
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well in a high volume and sometimes stressful environment
  • Ability to work well independently and make sound business decisions
  • Positive attitude and desire to learn and develop skills
  • Computer skills with MRI experience a plus
  • College education helpful
  • ARM or CAM designation a plus
  • Active and valid driver license is required
