About the position

The Propulsion Integration Engineer role at Bell involves developing and managing suppliers for propulsion systems in advanced aircraft, including the Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) and the Bell 525 Relentless. This position requires collaboration with various teams to optimize design and performance, manage supplier activities, and support flight testing, all while enhancing technical and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete design trade studies to optimize system key performance parameters.
• Support the mechanical integration of propulsion systems and components into the aircraft.
• Manage component supplier activities including design, documentation, and qualification.
• Support aircraft flight test activities with troubleshooting, data reduction, and creation of test reports.
• Manage problem resolution and change proposals.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of previous experience in supplier management.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or related field with relevant experience.
• 3-D geometry creation using CATIA or similar product.
• Solid understanding of the relationship between requirements, design solutions, and successful qualification.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a team player mindset.
• Excellent communication skills to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and suppliers.
