The role demands a proactive approach to leadership, with responsibilities that include conducting interviews, making hiring decisions, and managing performance evaluations. The manager will also be tasked with developing training programs and implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency. The Provider Relations Network and Operations Manager will serve as a liaison between various stakeholders, including providers, dental associations, and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and compliance with established policies. This position also involves analyzing reports and data to inform departmental activities and support the overall strategic plan of Delta Dental of Colorado. Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic guidance to departments and oversee daily operations.
  • Conduct interviews, make hiring decisions, and handle performance evaluations.
  • Plan and develop educational training for the department.
  • Implement strategies to increase operational efficiency.
  • Review and analyze reports and confer with coworkers to obtain data for planning activities.
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and monitor costs throughout the budget year.
  • Participate in the development and execution of organizational OKRs.
  • Serve as liaison to other member companies and Delta Dental Plans Association for network-related inquiries.
  • Oversee DDPA National Provider File updates and accuracy.
  • Monitor regulatory websites for actions against provider licenses.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited college or university with an Associate's degree in healthcare, business or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales, business development, and/or relationship management, preferably within healthcare/dental benefits.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of workforce management experience and knowledge of effective supervisory practices required.
  • Experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to fostering a positive work culture.
  • Prior experience/certifications in Salesforce strongly preferred.
  • Experience with analytics platforms such as PowerBI or Tableau strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience with government programs (e.g., Medicaid/Medicare) and related compliance requirements strongly preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of trends in the dental care field.
