About the position

Snoqualmie Valley Health is seeking a full-time, BC/BE Psychiatrist to join our growing medical team in beautiful Snoqualmie, Washington! Located at the base of the Cascades in a pioneering, adventure-loving town, Snoqualmie Valley Health serves the greater East King County communities including Snoqualmie, North Bend, Fall City, Carnation, Preston, and the surrounding region as far east as Snoqualmie Summit. SVH is a public, critical access, community hospital dedicated to meeting the needs of our growing patient population, and our role as a rural community hospital is immeasurable. To meet this need, our medical staff and service offerings include: emergency medicine, urgent care, pediatrics, family medicine, internal medicine, women's health, gastroenterology, cardiology, podiatry, behavioral health, medical aesthetics, infusion center, hospitalist program, inpatient and outpatient rehab including physical, occupational and speech therapy, swing bed, behavioral health, with additional specialties and service lines being added in the near future. The position offers a work schedule of 8 am - 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with generous benefits including 6 weeks of PTO, 5 days of CME with a CME allowance, and a competitive salary range of $275,000-$375,000+/year earning potential. The psychiatrist will also be eligible for a production/quality bonus in the first year, a $25,000 sign-on bonus, and a moving allowance. Additionally, there is a retirement plan with company match, and the opportunity to work with a highly collaborative team of energetic, positive, and highly skilled staff. The new hospital, built in 2015, has plans to open a state-of-the-art medical office building with a multi-specialty clinic, surgery and birthing center, restaurant, bar, and fitness center in 2026! There is also an opportunity to teach medical students and residents, and the position is eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Provide psychiatric evaluations and treatment for patients in a community hospital setting.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Participate in the education and training of medical students and residents.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of behavioral health services.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in compliance with hospital policies.

Requirements

  • Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry.
  • Ability to obtain a Washington State Medical License.
