About the position
This Psychiatry opportunity in Findlay, OH offers a unique blend of inpatient and outpatient care with a focus on flexibility and work-life balance. The position is full-time and permanent, welcoming new graduates from 2023 and beyond. The role includes a 1:6 inpatient phone call during weekdays and rounding on weekends, with a manageable 9-bed inpatient unit catering to patients aged 18 and older. You will be joining a collaborative team of three psychiatrists, three advanced practitioners, one psychologist, and six counselors, all supported by a full staff and leadership team. The environment promotes a supportive and collaborative atmosphere, allowing for a balanced professional and personal lifestyle. The position offers the flexibility to choose your outpatient age preference, focus, remote work options, and preferred hours. You will have access to strong subspecialty support and will be utilizing Cerner as the electronic medical record (EMR) system. The compensation package is competitive, featuring a base salary plus a wRVU production bonus, with additional negotiable benefits such as a signing bonus, relocation stipend, and student loan reimbursement. The organization provides 200 hours of vacation/CME, six major holidays with 48 total hours of holiday pay, and sick leave accrual up to 600 hours. Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric care to patients in an inpatient setting.
- Conduct inpatient phone calls during weekdays and rounding on weekends.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, advanced practitioners, psychologists, and counselors.
- Choose outpatient age preference and focus, along with remote work options.
- Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation and management.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree with a valid medical license in Ohio.
- Completion of a residency in Psychiatry.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-haves
