About the position

Absolute Storage Management, Inc is seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Part-Time Assistant Manager for our self-storage property located in Buford, GA. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the facility. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for assisting customers in determining their storage needs, leasing units, and completing rental agreements. This position requires a strong focus on revenue management, including computing and collecting rental fees, providing rental payment schedules, and managing late payment communications. The Assistant Manager will also play a key role in maintaining the security of the property and ensuring its curb appeal, which is vital for attracting and retaining customers. Working hours for this position are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with required Saturday hours from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This part-time role offers a base pay of $16.00 per hour for approximately 24 hours per week. Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the property, including determining the size and availability of units based on customer needs.
  • Lease storage units and complete rental forms accurately.
  • Market and sell storage space effectively to potential customers.
  • Manage revenue by computing and collecting rental fees, providing rental payment schedules, and communicating with customers regarding late payments.
  • Maintain security of the property and assist with its upkeep and curb appeal.

Requirements

  • Customer service experience is essential.
  • Strong ability to work independently and demonstrate dependability.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • Property management experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Completion of a satisfactory background check is required.
