About the position
Securitas Security Services is looking for part-time help in Chemung, NY and Corning, NY on the 3rd shift. The hours are from 11pm to 7am in Chemung, NY and from 10pm to 6am in Corning, NY. Candidates must have a valid NYS driver's license and be able to meet the requirements of the Securitas Safe Drive program for Chemung, NY, as driving a side by side for outside tours is required. Inside tours will be conducted at both factories. Candidates will need computer and customer service skills, as they will be answering phones, relaying call-offs to supervisors, and entering information into spreadsheets. Additionally, candidates may need to travel to Johnson City, NY to take the NYS Guard Licensing classes if required, with a total fee of $137.25 for prints and the license application.
Responsibilities
- Monitor premises and patrol various locations to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Enforce regulations and directives for the client site regarding personnel, visitors, and the area.
- Provide customer service and information to clients' employees and customers.
- Conduct inside tours at factories and outside tours as required.
Requirements
- Valid NYS driver's license.
- Ability to meet the requirements of the Securitas Safe Drive program.
- Basic computer skills for answering phones and managing spreadsheets.
- Customer service skills.
