At AECOM, we are dedicated to providing access to clean water, enabling communities to thrive and ecosystems to flourish. As a global leader in infrastructure consulting, we are at the forefront of significant water projects, with over 6,000 of the industry's best minds driving innovation and technical excellence. The Program Delivery Manager (PDMG) role is crucial in this mission, as it involves working closely with FEMA to provide technical assistance in disaster recovery efforts. This position will require a blend of project management and construction management skills, as PDMGs will be embedded within FEMA to support various tasks related to public assistance programs. The responsibilities of the PDMG include collecting, coordinating, and reviewing applicant data to determine eligibility and priority of assignments. This involves conducting audits for completeness, reviewing information gathered during the Preliminary Damage Assessment (PDA), and completing exploratory calls to gather information from applicants. The PDMG will also support communication with applicants regarding their status, schedule regular meetings, and track FEMA's requests. Additionally, the role requires coordinating the transmittal of documents through FEMA's Consolidated Resource Centers and scheduling site inspections with applicants and Site Inspector Task Force Leaders. PDMGs will play a vital role in the claims process by reviewing and validating damage details, scopes of work, and costs with applicants. Participation in regular FEMA meetings to provide updates on work status and evaluate claims is also expected. The PDMG will assist in developing the Determination Memo and communicating final determinations to applicants during the closeout process. Conducting exit briefings and coordinating site inspections to validate and record damage are essential tasks that support the FEMA Public Assistance grant delivery process. Given that this job is 100% computer-based, strong computer skills are a must, as all work will be completed through a web-based application.
