About the position

The Senior Account Executive (SAE) at Inkhouse plays a vital role in managing multiple accounts and executing effective media relations strategies. This position requires a creative self-starter with excellent writing skills who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. The SAE will be responsible for leading media relations efforts, mentoring junior staff, and providing strategic counsel to clients, all while staying updated on industry trends and news.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the core media relations person on assigned accounts, drafting weekly pitches and assigning targets.
• Act as a backup client contact for all communications.
• Contribute heavily to client calls and run calls in the absence of the manager.
• Write top-tier press releases, bylines, and blog posts.
• Create pitches for campaigns and launches to serve as templates for the team.
• Draft amplification memos for each media hit.
• Stay informed on news to leverage for regular proactive outreach.
• Generate creative ideas for clients on a weekly basis.
• Keep up-to-date on PR trends and client trends.
• Suggest social media ideas and stay informed about new social media platforms and information.
• Mentor junior staff and model positive Inkhouse values and behaviors.
• Oversee and provide strategic counsel on speaking and awards programs.
• Manage analyst programs.
• Liaise with the design team as needed for infographic and design work.

Requirements

• B.S./B.A. in public relations, marketing, communications, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of progressive experience in public relations.
• Experience in B2B, healthcare, or consumer technology sectors.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Strong pitching skills.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple client responsibilities.
