The Public Safety Technology Manager for Information Technology Services is responsible for the hands-on administration & support of technology used in all Public Safety departments (Police, Fire, EMS). This includes dispatch systems, enterprise applications, server systems, rugged mobile computers in vehicles, network switch infrastructure, computers and cell phones/tablets. The Public Safety Technology Manager will act as a hands-on technical resource and coordinator for infrastructure and application integration technical projects. This position may manage subordinate IT support staff and contractors as required and assigned. This position provides on-call after-hours support for Public Safety departments as required and works with the City's IT Infrastructure team, escalating critical items if assistance is needed.
