Publishing/Graphics Specialist

About the position

The Publishing/Graphics Specialist at Taylor Corporation is responsible for reviewing artwork, interpreting distributor requests, and collaborating with various departments to ensure production capabilities meet customer expectations. This role is essential in maintaining quality and detail in graphic communications, contributing to the company's mission of providing innovative solutions in the printing and marketing industry.

Responsibilities

• Review artwork in a timely manner
• Interpret distributor requests provided on artwork, purchase orders, and other means of communication
• Work with other departments to determine production capabilities and customer expectations
• Attend all meetings and seminars as requested

Requirements

• Proficient in computer programs such as Windows, Illustrator, FreeHand, Quark, Photoshop, PageMaker, Corel, InDesign, etc.
• Ability to interpret artwork instructions
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to prioritize and balance workloads
• Ability to work in a team environment and with various departments within the organization
• Strong communication skills

Nice-to-haves

• Vocational training or degree in Graphic Design
• Previous printing experience
• 0-2 years' experience
