About The Position

As a Purchasing Coordinator at Barnes & Noble, you will be responsible for managing supply needs across various stores and distribution centers. Responsibilities

  • Manage and prioritize work orders in the FF&E email inbox.
  • Utilize analytics tools to run reports from ServiceChannel and ensure timely follow-up on supply orders.
  • Monitor store inventory of gift cards and facilitate transfers from closing stores.
  • Conduct monthly reviews of vendor inventories and highlight issues for Project Managers.
  • Update and maintain supply module catalogs to ensure current item numbers and pricing.
  • Assist in closing and new store supply orders, tracking deliveries, and ensuring timely fulfillment.
  • Collaborate with Creative, Operations, Merchandising, and other cross-functional teams to address supply-related inquiries.
  • Ensure accuracy in all communications regarding supplies before distribution.
  • Troubleshoot for customers where needed and look for opportunities to reduce waste.
  • Complete special projects or other duties as assigned.
  • Oversee departmental invoicing, ensuring accuracy and efficient tracking of all purchases.
