About The Position

Pure Barre Culver City is looking for a dynamic and charismatic instructor to join their team. The role involves teaching barre fitness classes, engaging with clients, and contributing to a positive community atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fitness and wellness, along with the ability to memorize choreography and lead classes with energy and enthusiasm.

Requirements

• Attention to detail and a passion for fitness and wellness.
• Ability to memorize choreography quickly and confidently lead a class of 20 people.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and willingness to go above and beyond.
• Musicality and vocal skills to keep rhythm and provide dynamic direction.
• Performance background in dance, yoga, fitness, cheerleading, or barre concept is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience required.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience required.
• Minimum 1 year of group fitness experience required.

Responsibilities

• Availability to teach early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Diligent study of choreography and class planning prior to each class, as well as learning full choreography changes on a quarterly basis.
• Assist with shared team responsibilities keeping the studio beautiful.
• Ability to lift hand weights, demonstrate full body pushups, and maintain consistent high-energy is required for teaching a 50-minute class.
• Complete a 4-day virtual training and significant 'at home' study for 100 hour certification before being eligible to teach classes.
