Python, Node.js Lead Developer

About the position

Infosys is seeking Python Lead Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing the service quality plan, co-ordinate with the teams (client, offshore, 3rd party vendors), design architecture, DevSecOps practices, Knowledge Management Compliances with the objective to sustain delivery predictability and meet client and internal commitments on a continuous basis for the specific processes under purview within the guidelines, policies, and norms of Infosys. In this role you will be responsible for transition coordination, resource planning and training, performance management of the team, Service level agreement and process compliance, knowledge management, process reengineering, resource optimization and overall governance of the team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the service quality plan.
• Coordinate with client, offshore, and 3rd party vendors.
• Design architecture and implement DevSecOps practices.
• Ensure compliance with Knowledge Management.
• Sustain delivery predictability and meet client and internal commitments.
• Manage transition coordination and resource planning.
• Conduct training and performance management of the team.
• Oversee service level agreement and process compliance.
• Engage in knowledge management and process reengineering.
• Optimize resources and govern the overall team.

Requirements

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Indianapolis, IN or be willing to relocate to the area.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of related work experience.
• 3+ years of application development and support experience using Python, APIs, Azure SQL.
• Design and development experience using Object Oriented design principles and software design patterns.
• 3+ years of experience with Microservices development using Spring Boot or any other technology framework.
• 2+ years of experience in designing, implementing, hosting, and debugging RESTful API Web services.
• Experience in performance tuning in SQL.
• 4+ years of web application development experience using Angular/React technologies.
• Strong understanding and hands-on programming/scripting experience in JavaScript, jQuery, React/Angular.
• Experience in TypeScript, JSON, HTML5, CSS3.
• Writing cross-browser compatible code.
• Experience working on one of the DB technologies, writing queries etc. - Oracle, MySQL, Azure SQL, or Postgres.
