About the position
The QA Analyst position at Visions in View Inc involves performing software quality assurance and testing for various social services applications. The role requires developing, enhancing, maintaining, and executing test plans and scenarios, while participating in requirements analysis and providing technical support for testing and implementation efforts. The position is contract-based and requires strong communication skills and a solid understanding of programming and testing concepts.
Responsibilities
- Perform software quality assurance and testing for TIERS and other social services applications.
- Develop, enhance, maintain, and execute test plans and scenarios for web-based applications.
- Participate in requirements analysis, test design, and test data preparation.
- Create technical and design documentation as required.
- Employ contemporary testing methods to ensure applications function properly.
- Provide technical support for testing and implementation efforts.
- Participate in program design, coding, and test walk-through meetings.
Requirements
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong understanding of fundamental programming and testing concepts in web-based UI applications.
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in computer science, computer information systems, or engineering.
- 1 year of experience in SDLC (Preferred).
- 1 year of experience with SoapUI (Preferred).
