About the position

The position involves designing and executing automated tests to validate software functionality, security, and performance. The candidate will be responsible for creating automated test scripts using engineering principles, running these tests, and documenting any issues that arise. Collaboration with the application team is essential to resolve any identified problems, and all testing activities must comply with company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design tests: Use engineering principles to create automated test scripts that can be run repeatedly
  • Run tests: Execute the automated tests to validate the software's functionality, security, and performance
  • Record issues: Document any problems or defects that are found
  • Work with the team: Collaborate with the application team to resolve issues
  • Ensure compliance: Make sure all testing activities are done in accordance with company standards

Requirements

  • Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or SQL
  • Knowledge of how to design frameworks
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of QA methodology
  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS
  • Experience using tools like Maven, Selenoid, or JUnit
  • Attention to detail: The ability to focus on all aspects of a project
  • Expertise in Cloud Infrastructure Automation including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Ansible, Ansible Tower, Jenkins, and LINUX
  • Experience in creating Subnets, Security groups, VPC and Route 53 used for multi-region
  • Experience in using containerization and container management tools like Docker, Docker Compose and Kubernetes for Orchestration
  • Ability in development of XML, Shell Scripts, Python Scripts for monitoring and to automate the build and deployment process
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining the integrity of the project artifacts throughout the software
