QA Lead Automation Senior Engineer

About the position

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with a strong background in both manual and automated testing. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in manual QA processes and have extensive experience in exploratory testing, end-to-end (E2E) testing, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps. The role requires a proactive approach to quality assurance, ensuring that all aspects of the software development lifecycle are covered.

Responsibilities

• Conduct manual QA processes and exploratory testing.
• Perform end-to-end (E2E) testing.
• Utilize CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
• Automate testing using Page Object Model (POM) concepts.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code coverage standards are met.
• Automate UI/API testing using Selenium, Java, Typescript/JavaScript, and Playwright.
• Work in a Shift Left mode of working.
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman.
• Execute and maintain regression test scripts.
• Utilize code repository tools like Git.
• Write SQL queries for database testing.
• Design automation scripts and frameworks from scratch as needed.
• Enhance existing automation frameworks.
• Use SonarQube and Grafana for code quality metrics.
• Lead a team in a multi-geography location.
