About the position

We are seeking a QA lead for IBM Cloud VPC team. This individual will play a crucial role in the cloud software development process, have a deeper understanding and experience in designing and implementing test strategies, in leading testing effort with the Product Development team, onshore/ offshore QA team, resulting in higher quality software products.

Responsibilities

• Develop in depth functionality and stability automatic tests that will map customer use cases
• Research the right set of workloads and benchmarks
• Develop automated test scenarios and environments for End2End automatic evaluation
• Collect test evidence measurements to ensure system functionality, stability and scalability
• Designing and implementing automation tools and frameworks for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment
• Monitoring and managing infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to application development, deployment, and operations
• Ensuring compliance with industry best practices and organizational policies
• Continuously improving processes and tools to enhance efficiency and productivity

Requirements

• Skilled in test automation, debugging, and analytical skills
• Experience with testing tools and frameworks, and work closely with development teams to identify and resolve issues
• Collaborating with development and operations teams to identify and address bottlenecks in the software development lifecycle
• Hands-on with programming languages such as Python
• Good understanding of Cloud, development and deployment methodologies in cloud, Devops, CI/CD
• Working knowledge of Scrum, Kanban or equivalent. Jira, Github
• Strong leadership and communication skills
