Quality Analyst/Engineer

About the position

Serve as a Quality Analyst/Engineer to create test scenarios and test cases for medium-to-large projects and execute test cases and regression tests. This is a hybrid role, with the associate required to be in the office 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Consult with Business Analyst to create and review test scenarios and test cases for medium-to-large projects - including regression tests.
• Prepare and strategize testing for long-term efforts, including end-to-end and user acceptance testing.
• Document and communicate defects found during testing.
• Provide input into issue resolution priorities.
• Resolve escalated incidents.
• Prepare test status and metric reporting.
• Independently provide testing estimates for projects.
• Clearly identify the Quality Assurance tasks as input into the Project Plan.
• Develop comprehensive Test Strategy and Test Plan documents.
• Identify testing risks and issues as they arise; communicate and escalate accordingly.
• Provide input into the deployment plan.
• Execute vague test cases without knowledge of the system.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an IT, Mathematics, or related field.
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and technical aspects of software solutions.
• Highly motivated, organized, and a self-starter.
• Superior oral and written communication skills.

• 1-3 years of Quality Analyst experience.
• Insurance industry experience.
• Experience with Duck Creek software solutions.
• Experience with AzureDevOps (ADO).
