This position is part of the Quality Control department located in Fargo, ND and will be an on-site position. You will be a part of the Quality Control Environmental Monitoring Team and report to the QC Environmental Monitoring Supervisor, and be responsible for sampling, detecting, quantifying, and identifying possible contaminants that may interfere with the quality of the product during the different stages of the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and non-routine Microbiological and Analytical Microbiology sampling, which will include environmental monitoring (viable air, viable surface, total particulates, water sampling, compressed gas monitoring).
  • Utilize proper aseptic technique for sample collection and preparation.
  • Take on responsibility of plate incubations and be able to perform plate enumeration to attain final viable EM results.
  • Make detailed observations in support of Alert, Action, and OOS result investigations.
  • Review and approve test results against established limits and Specifications.

Requirements

  • 0-1 years of experience in microbiology or relevant QC experience in a GMP laboratory setting preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in microbiology or related scientific field preferred.
  • Working knowledge of aseptic practices and techniques.
