About The Position

The Quality Control Inspector at Healthcare Glendale is responsible for ensuring the quality of all goods produced in the manufacturing plant. This role requires consistent speed and accuracy in inspecting products, performing tests, and monitoring production operations to meet company specifications. The inspector will also communicate inspection results and suggest corrective actions to maintain high-quality standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Basic Math and Reading skills
  • Quality Control experience working in a factory is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control processes
  • Knowledge of arithmetic and statistics as they apply to the inspection process
  • Excellent communication skills: clear and concise verbal and written communication
  • Skilled in active listening
  • Skilled in decision making as it relates to costs and benefits in favor of the company
  • Skilled at conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality and/or performance
  • Skilled at monitoring/assessing performance standards to make improvements or take corrective action
  • Skilled in time management
  • Fluency in the English Language (verbal and written)
  • Ability to conduct detailed inspections of products at close range
  • Ability to quickly and accurately compare similarities and differences among sets of letters, numbers, objects, pictures, or patterns
  • Ability to identify or detect a known pattern that may be hidden in other distracting material
  • Ability to concentrate on a task over a given period of time without distraction
  • Ability to imagine how something will look after it is moved around or when its parts are moved or rearranged.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect products to ensure that they meet quality standards.
  • Perform tests for quality control of products.
  • Disassemble product parts to inspect them individually.
  • Monitor production operations to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Direct assembly adjustments to ensure operations reflect quality standards.
  • Ensure products meet customer expectations based on company objectives.
  • Communicate the results of inspections and put forward corrective suggestions.
  • Write reports to document deficiencies and errors of products.
  • Report any issues to the team leader or supervisor on duty.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
