Quality Control / Packer

About the position

The Quality Control / Packer position is responsible for ensuring that consumer products are packaged to meet high-quality standards. This role involves inspecting products for flaws, conducting basic tests, and training operators on quality control processes. The position is based in Monroe Township, NJ, and is a direct-hire opportunity with a focus on maintaining quality in the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each consumer product is properly packaged to meet quality standards.
• Check labeling, seals, and look for flaws or discrepancies in products.
• Perform periodic conformity sampling and conduct basic product tests.
• Communicate with and train operators on non-conforming products and necessary adjustments to machinery.
• Maintain detailed quality inspection files and retrieve them as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post high school education desirable but not required.
• At least six months of prior Quality Control manufacturing work experience.
• Availability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Clear and legible handwriting is essential.
• Strong computer skills, including basic data entry into MS Excel spreadsheets.
• Ability to communicate in English; bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
• Good basic math skills.
