About The Position

The Quality Program Manager is responsible for maintaining and improving the following quality improvement programs: NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home, Meaningful Use Requirements, UDS Clinical Quality Measures, Health Plan and Paid-for-Performance Quality Incentive Program Measures, monitoring and working the Health Plans member rosters, and any other programs deemed essential for quality by Tri-Cities Community Health. In maintaining and improving these programs, the Quality Program Manager will gather data and report compliance and progress to the Quality Committee. The Quality Program Manager actively engages with the clinical teams and leadership in education and workflow processes to improve all our quality programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in healthcare field preferred; equivalent relevant experience in lieu of degree is acceptable.
  • 2 years' experience working in a healthcare facility required; experience in quality improvement and management in a hospital or ambulatory setting preferred; experience in quality improvement in a Federally Qualified Health Center highly preferred.
  • High level of knowledge in quality of care standards and regulations, including HRSA, MCO's, and PCMHs.
  • Experience in developing, implementing, and enforcing quality of care standards and regulations.
  • Very strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literate and able to review and analyze data in electronic format.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates, implements, and documents TCCH's quality/performance improvement program on an ongoing basis, ensuring compliance with governmental agencies such as HRSA, health plans, and other accrediting agencies.
  • Works with management on the annual quality/performance improvement plan and submits it to the TCCH Quality Committee.
  • Schedules and coordinates quality committee and subcommittee meetings, prepares agendas, and collects quality improvement data to present to committees.
  • Supervises Continuous Quality Improvement activities of the clinical record with practice subcommittees of the QI program.
  • Ensures that the quality improvement program meets various regulatory and accrediting agency requirements.
  • Evaluates the quality improvement program to assess effectiveness.
  • Works with All Health Plans to meet quality expectations in contracts, attending meetings and maintaining rosters.
  • Reports progress on each Health Plan Paid-For-Performance reports to the Quality Committee.
  • Oversees the patient satisfaction survey process, reports results, and provides input for improvement.
  • Assists Directors, Managers, and Site Leadership in developing process improvements to meet quality program requirements.
  • Supports and performs reporting requirements to outside agencies to meet quality program requirements.
  • Actively pursues educational opportunities to enhance knowledge and effectiveness as a manager.
  • Supports Site Managers with training and development of Community Health Workers.
  • Responsible for fiscal management of the department, developing and monitoring budget.
