About the position

The Quant Analytics Vice President - Partner Analytics at JPMorgan is a leadership role within the Consumer and Community Banking Data & Analytics organization. This position focuses on supporting advanced analytics projects that drive portfolio growth, enhance customer experience, and inform product design and marketing strategies. The role involves leading a team of analysts, consulting with internal business partners, and generating actionable insights through data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of analysts responsible for analyzing, measuring, and optimizing customer marketing investments across multiple channels.
  • Leverage data to optimize the entire customer lifecycle, focusing on spend engagement, deepening, and retention for co-brand partners.
  • Understand and master a broad range of analytics capabilities such as test design, modeling, and NLP analysis, applying them to business problems.
  • Drive best practices and technical standards to develop KPIs and goals for the card business, creating dashboards, reports, and visualizations for C-level consumption.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leaders and support team members in doing the same.
  • Partner closely with co-brand internal/external teams to enhance understanding of data usage in their business areas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Math, Finance, Economics, or Operations Research.
  • 6 years of analytical and industry experience in credit card, T&E retail, direct marketing, or financial services with large transactional databases.
  • 5 years of experience with SQL and SAS.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and statistical skills with the ability to synthesize diverse information and develop strategies.
  • Considerable background in consumer segmentation, customer profiling, and data mining.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly to senior leaders.
  • Strong financial and reporting acumen with an understanding of credit card profit and loss drivers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in a quantitative discipline or MBA preferred.
