Scotty's Contracting and Stone is accepting applications for a Quarry Plant Operator (Aggregate Equipment Operator). Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor equipment including cone crushers, jaw crushers, screen plants, conveyors, and hoppers.
- Conduct regular inspections and perform routine and preventative maintenance.
- Comply with Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Manage troubleshooting and technical challenges efficiently.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and guidelines.
- Actively participate in fostering a quality control culture to meet and exceed the expected standards.
Requirements
- Able to work outdoors in extreme conditions, such as cold, heat, and humidity.
- Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task.
- Able to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and overtime as needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision.
- Ability to get along with others.
- Positive customer service-oriented attitude.
