About the position

This position is for an experienced CICS systems programmer at a stable high-tech company that is experiencing unprecedented growth. This role requires a deep understanding of CICS Transaction Server, particularly in a CPSM (CICS Performance and Systems Management) environment. The programmer will be tasked with installing, monitoring, and providing ongoing support for CICS Transaction Server versions 5.x and 6.x. In addition to installation and monitoring, the role involves troubleshooting CICS-related issues, conducting performance analysis, and providing support for OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in these areas, as well as experience with MQ queue management, the Db2/CICS interface, and thread-safe programming practices. This position is crucial for maintaining the stability and performance of the CICS environments as the company continues to grow. Responsibilities
