About the position

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a board certified or board eligible Radiation Oncologist to join a multi-specialty Cancer Center. This employed position offers a competitive salary, moving allowance, and a comprehensive benefits package, with the added advantage of no state income tax. The role is based in the Temple/Killeen region and involves working in both clinics, utilizing advanced technology in a newly opened facility.

Responsibilities

  • Provide radiation oncology services to patients in both Temple and Killeen clinics.
  • Utilize advanced radiation therapy technologies including IMRT, VMAT, and SBRT.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Participate in academic opportunities through The Baylor College of Medicine.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and maintain board certification.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Texas by the Texas Medical Board.
  • Current board certification in Radiation Oncology or active pursuit of board certification.
  • Experience in Brachytherapy is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with advanced imaging and treatment technologies in radiation oncology.
  • Familiarity with Varian ARIA EMR and Eclipse TPS.
