About the position
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a board certified or board eligible Radiation Oncologist to join a multi-specialty Cancer Center. The role is based in the Temple/Killeen region and involves working in both clinics, utilizing advanced technology in a newly opened facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide radiation oncology services to patients in both Temple and Killeen clinics.
- Utilize advanced radiation therapy technologies including IMRT, VMAT, and SBRT.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Participate in academic opportunities through The Baylor College of Medicine.
- Engage in continuous professional development and maintain board certification.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Texas by the Texas Medical Board.
- Current board certification in Radiation Oncology or active pursuit of board certification.
- Experience in Brachytherapy is preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with advanced imaging and treatment technologies in radiation oncology.
- Familiarity with Varian ARIA EMR and Eclipse TPS.
