Texas Oncology is seeking a dedicated Radiation Therapist to join our team at the TXO Dallas Methodist location in Texas. The Radiation Therapist will play a crucial role in this mission by administering radiation therapy treatments to patients under the direct supervision of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist. This position requires a high level of accuracy in positioning the radiation beam to correspond with the designated tumor volume and delivering the prescribed dose. In addition to administering treatments, the Radiation Therapist will be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records, participating in the clinical instruction of newly hired therapists and students, and assisting in the management of patient appointment schedules. The role also involves ensuring compliance with the US Oncology Compliance Program, including adherence to the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program, possess ARRT certification, and hold a valid state license for radiation therapy.
