The Radiologic Technologist will operate X-ray equipment to assist in the diagnoses of various diseases, ailments, and injuries. This position is for a part-time, .9 - 72 hours per pay period, Radiologic Technologist role. The role will provide primary services at our Vadnais Heights, Forest Lake, and Blaine campuses, with the ability to float to multiple sites as needed. The tentative schedule includes shifts on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with some Sundays, and is subject to change. Qualified candidates will be graduates of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and must have current ARRT registration. The ideal candidate will be fluent in digital radiology technology and possess advanced computer skills, including a working knowledge of multiple computer applications and equipment, such as PACS, Digitizer, Outlook, EMR, and EPM. Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills are essential, along with knowledge of HIPAA and other privacy regulations. The work environment includes medical office and exam room settings, with frequent exposure to communicable diseases and equipment noise for extended periods of time. The role involves frequent contact with a variety of people, making interpersonal skills crucial for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Operate X-ray equipment to assist in the diagnoses of various diseases, ailments, and injuries.

  • Float to multiple sites as needed based on operational requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program (required).
  • Current ARRT registration (required).
  • 1-3 years of experience as an X-ray technologist, preferably in a physician practice environment (preferred).
  • Courses in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology (preferred).
  • Basic Life Support certification (required).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a healthcare setting (1 year preferred).
