About the position

Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for a Radiology School Program Director who will direct the activities of the School of Radiologic Technology. The position involves overseeing curriculum design, evaluation, instruction, program administration, and academic advising. The director will maintain standards in the overall school design as established by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and ensure compliance with guidelines and regulations mandated by the Joint Review Committee, State agencies, and other accrediting organizations. Additionally, the director will serve as Adjunct faculty at Crafton Hills College, participate in budget planning, and fulfill other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the activities of the School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Proficient in curriculum design, evaluation, instruction, program administration, and academic advising.
  • Maintain standards in the overall school design as established by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Ensure compliance with guidelines and regulations mandated by the Joint Review Committee, State agencies, and other accrediting organizations.
  • Serve as Adjunct faculty at Crafton Hills College which sponsors the Radiology Technology Program at ARMC.
  • Participate in budget planning; didactic and/or clinical, as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Must maintain Radiologic Technologist certification and Fluoroscopy certification with the State of California throughout employment.
  • Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Three (3) years of Medical Imaging experience.
  • Two (2) years of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT accredited radiography program.
  • Master's degree in Radiology or closely related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in course curriculum development.
