About the position

The Real Estate Portfolio Manager will oversee the performance of a portfolio of development projects, including a new mixed-use apartment complex. This role involves managing day-to-day operations across multiple states, ensuring optimal performance of existing properties, and supporting the firm's growth through strategic investment decisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee property performance for a portfolio of development projects.
• Manage day-to-day operations of a large real estate portfolio.
• Optimize the performance of the company's existing portfolio and future investments.
• Oversee maintenance, repairs, tenant relations, accounting, collections, and capital improvements.
• Determine appropriate strategies to maximize returns and values.
• Maintain standard operations against operating plans and budgets, reporting and interpreting results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in real estate, construction management, business, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Hi-Rise Luxury Residential, multi-family, and mixed-use facilities.
• Experience working directly for an owner, not just as a third-party property manager.
• Experience creating and managing budgets and producing property reports and business plans.
• Experience managing a multi-million-dollar portfolio of real estate properties.
• Strong relationship-building and influencing skills.
• Highly organized and self-directed with a focus on personal and team development.
• Articulate and professional with solid financial acumen.
