About the position

The position involves full life cycle recruitment duties, which include researching, screening, and assisting in the selection of experienced and qualified candidates to fill job openings across various positions. The recruiter will draft and place job advertisements on multiple platforms, including social networking and industry-specific job boards. They will also assist with employee branding messaging to ensure the brand is communicated throughout the recruitment process. An effective follow-up program will be developed to maintain contact with viable candidates, aiming to convert them into employees. Collaboration with the Director of HR and hiring managers is essential to discuss specific plans of action for job openings. The recruiter will manage the applicant tracking system/HRIS, acting as the resident expert and monitoring activity to ensure recruitment timeframes are met. Close work with the Director of HR will provide detailed information about open positions to ensure accurate communication with applicants. Additionally, the recruiter will develop candidate sourcing strategies to create a talent pipeline for frequently or harder-to-fill positions and assist in organizing and participating in job fairs and recruitment events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of previous healthcare experience.
  • Proven success in sourcing candidates for healthcare positions.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems required, specifically iCIMS.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with a variety of applicants and customers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience making recruitment recommendations to management.
  • Self-motivated and able to handle sensitive information discreetly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment skills, HR policies, and applicable laws.
