About the position

The Recruiting Research Associate at CoStar Group plays a crucial role in identifying and attracting top talent across various functions, including executive, product, and marketing roles. This position involves creating and implementing search strategies, conducting market research, and building strong talent pipelines to support the company's hiring needs and growth objectives. The associate will work closely with recruitment stakeholders to drive efficient and high-quality search processes.

Responsibilities

  • Design and carry out targeted search strategies for roles across levels and businesses.
  • Conduct market research to gather insights into candidate pools, competitor activity, and industry trends.
  • Build and maintain a diverse pipeline of qualified candidates, engaging with both active and passive candidates.
  • Manage multiple searches, tracking progress and deliverables for an equitable experience.
  • Work closely with recruiters to refine search approaches and advise on talent strategies.
  • Assist in preparing detailed candidate profiles and reports for client presentations.
  • Stay updated on industry and market trends to improve search effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate records in the candidate database.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of research or recruiting experience within a search firm or in-house recruiting team.
  • Experience using tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter for market mapping and talent identification.
  • Proven experience conducting comprehensive research and using databases to identify talent.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication abilities.
  • Experience working as part of a team, collaborating effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in executive recruiting, including outreach and candidate engagement.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering search services for high-impact roles.
  • Capability to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in recruiting processes.
