About The Position

The Recruitment/HR Coordinator provides daily support to the Human Resources Department/Recruitment Team by ensuring all recruitment and retention related initiatives are addressed in a professional and efficient manner. This includes ensuring that general documentation, files, correspondence, and reports are accurate and disseminated appropriately in compliance with departmental procedures and State and Federal requirements. The coordinator also provides clerical support to recruiters to facilitate the interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of qualified candidates. Additionally, this position is responsible for maintaining efficient and concise procedures for the Human Resources front desk operations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 3 years of continuing advanced administrative/clerical responsibilities
  • 3 years of direct experience in the Human Resources field
  • 2 - 3 years recruitment experience strongly preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Human Resources Certificate, associate degree or bachelor's degree in a business related field or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

  • Review new hire paperwork for completeness and follow-up with supervisor and/or applicant to obtain required paperwork.
  • Setup new hire file prior to employee hire date and complete New Hire Checklist to ensure all proper documentation has been completed.
  • Assist in maintaining recruitment database of prospective applicants and tracking of position control.
  • Collect new hire paperwork and audit for completeness.
  • Contact new hire candidates to schedule onboarding appointments, start dates, and training dates.
  • Act as the receptionist for the HR Offices, screening office and telephone calls and routing as appropriate.
  • Meet and greet customers that present for various departments.
  • Maintain office filing, ensuring all Human Resources files are kept current.
  • Process and maintain department invoices.
  • Assist with creating badges and providing security access to assigned facilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
