As a Regional Asset Protection Manager at Burlington Stores, you will play a crucial role in the development, direction, and implementation of the company's Asset Protection, Shortage Control, and Safety programs across all markets in your region. In this role, you will be responsible for training and overseeing store management and asset protection associates to ensure the proper execution of company policies and procedures. Your leadership will be vital in guaranteeing the safety and security of customers, associates, merchandise, and the physical structure of the stores. You will manage the investigation of all asset protection incidents, ensuring they are resolved successfully by proactively developing strategies to reduce incidents and associated financial losses, ultimately driving positive results for the company. You will also develop competency in internal and external investigations, auditing, shortage reduction programs, and system controls. This includes managing asset protection staffing for all store locations in the region, overseeing payroll and expenses, and conducting thorough audits of the Financial, Merchandising, and Operations divisions of assigned locations. Building strong relationships with law enforcement and legal professionals will be essential for interfacing on criminal and civil matters, ensuring that the company is well-protected against potential threats.
