About the position

Your primary responsibility will be to partner with store leadership to develop and implement an Asset Protection strategy aimed at mitigating risk and loss within our Gap Inc stores. This includes conducting investigations and utilizing all available resources to identify and resolve crime activity in assigned locations. You will assist with the implementation and continued execution of the shortage reduction program, working closely with store personnel to identify inventory shortage opportunities and recommend effective solutions. Additionally, you will determine the assignment of appropriate Asset Protection resources, such as agents and technology, to address these shortage reduction opportunities. You will also need to adapt team priorities to respond to customer and business partner needs, ensuring that the team is accountable for performance through teaching, coaching, and providing meaningful feedback to build capabilities. This role requires a proactive approach to leadership and a commitment to fostering a safe and secure environment for all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with store leadership to develop and implement an Asset Protection strategy to mitigate risk and loss within Gap Inc stores.
  • Conduct investigations and utilize all available resources to identify and resolve crime activity in assigned locations.
  • Assist with the implementation and continued execution of the shortage reduction program.

Requirements

  • Ability to provide Asset Protection leadership to drive results, coach and develop direct reports, collaborate and lead execution through others.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to negotiate and build consensus across multiple stakeholders and functions.
  • Ability to actively learn and immediately apply learnings into decisions and behaviors.
  • Time management and ability to prioritize/multi-task.
  • Probe beyond the stated situation, identify underlying issues and consider possible alternatives.
