About the position

The Regional People Operations Manager for the Americas will lead and manage the People Operations function in a rapidly growing organization. This role emphasizes strategic thinking, operational excellence, and hands-on problem-solving, overseeing compliance, employee lifecycle processes, and policy management while managing a team dedicated to exceptional service. The position involves collaboration with cross-functional partners to support global expansion and drive operational efficiencies in a high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the People Operations function for the Americas region, focusing on scalability in a growing organization.
  • Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, data management, travel, benefits, and retirement administration.
  • Work cross-functionally with teams such as Legal, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Finance, and People Partners to deliver effective and compliant People solutions.
  • Utilize data and analytics to identify trends, address operational gaps, and create streamlined solutions that enhance overall effectiveness.
  • Drive process optimization across People Operations to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Ensure that workflows and SOPs are well-defined and documented.
  • Manage the People ticketing system and direct the team in responding to and resolving employee inquiries and issues.
  • Lead the regular review and updates of employee handbooks and policies, ensuring compliance with local laws and best practices.
  • Manage the distribution of employment law posters and required notices to ensure legal compliance.
  • Oversee, deliver, and track completion of compliance training as required.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for compliance-related issues such as I-9s and employment practices.
  • Coordinate and complete governmental and audit compliance reporting, including EEO1, SOC 2, and client requests.
  • Oversee contingent workforce management and ensure compliance requirements are met.
  • Manage regional immigration and visa compliance for global employee transfers.
  • Partner with global People Operations teams to ensure consistency and balance of People policies across regions.
  • Support the global expansion of Addepar by managing processes, systems, and compliance as the company grows.
  • Drive the execution of initiatives that balance short-term needs with long-term growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing People Operations team, setting clear goals and ensuring alignment with Addepar's global People strategy.
  • Foster a collaborative, growth-oriented environment that empowers the team to deliver operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in People Operations or HR roles, with at least 3 years of people management experience.
  • Experience at a global organization is preferred.
  • Deep expertise in managing employment compliance, ensuring adherence to regional labor laws.
  • Strong ability to think strategically and implement solutions that improve operational efficiencies.
  • Proficient with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) and skilled in using data and analytics to drive decisions.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in documents and processes.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $106,000 - $133,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
