In this position, you will achieve sales goals for ERICO and ILSCO Commercial Electrical business in various states by maintaining existing business and successfully converting new business. You will actively lead 3rd party sales agents, develop multi-year sales strategies, build relationships with key customers, and provide product expertise through training and technical presentations. You will also create demand for products, support agent opportunities, launch new products, and use Salesforce to manage the opportunity pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales goals for ERICO and ILSCO Commercial Electrical business in specified states.
  • Actively lead 3rd party sales agents, aligning goals with territory strategy.
  • Develop multi-year sales strategy & tactical plan to achieve sales targets.
  • Build relationships across all levels of key end-user customers and distributor partners.
  • Influence end-user specifications to provide approval for ERICO and ILSCO products.
  • Provide product expertise through training and technical presentations.
  • Create demand for products through pro-active promotion.
  • Support agent opportunities and proposals for ERICO and ILSCO.
  • Launch new products to market/territory.
  • Communicate competitive feedback and market dynamics internally.
  • Use Salesforce as a tool to lead the opportunity pipeline.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or applicable outside sales experience.
  • 5+ years outside sales and/or territory sales management experience in the commercial or industrial space with electrical products.
  • Ability to work remotely and travel on average 60% in the sales region.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Commercial and contractor sales knowledge.
  • High level of organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with a customer relationship management system, preferably Salesforce.
  • Strong preference for technical sales and value-based selling skills.
  • Ability to navigate/walk an active construction site.
