About The Position

The Registered Nurse III position at Cedars-Sinai's Ambulatory Infusion Center involves providing high-quality nursing care to outpatients receiving therapeutic intravenous infusions. The role requires a proficient and experienced clinician who can efficiently manage patient care, utilizing advanced technical and organizational skills. The nurse will be responsible for a variety of tasks including administering medications, performing phlebotomy, and coordinating unit activities when assigned charge nurse responsibilities.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
• Current, unrestricted California RN license required.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross ACLS and PALS required.
• Specialty certification required (or willing to obtain within one year from start date).
• A minimum of 3 years of acute care nursing experience required.
• Strong IV skills required.
• Experience in an outpatient ambulatory clinic setting is beneficial.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Applicants with 1 - 3 years of experience may be considered as a Clinical Nurse II.

Responsibilities

• Provides and documents nursing process components and relevant interventions for patient care services.
• Performs skin tests, immunizations, phlebotomy, and initiates peripheral venous access.
• Observes and evaluates patients, altering care plans based on their condition and reactions to treatments.
• Coordinates unit activity throughout the shift when assigned charge nurse responsibilities.
