About The Position

The Relief Youth/Family Support Worker will be part of the All-Stars Therapeutic Day Program, focusing on providing psycho-educational and recreational support to youth aged 6-11 with emotional challenges. The role aims to strengthen resiliency and help youth develop essential skills in emotional regulation, mindfulness, and social engagement through direct services and community-based activities.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in behavioral health or related field (preferred).
• Knowledge of and training in child development and children's mental health experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services to therapeutic day program/after school program families and youth.
• Provide on-site or community-based activities as needed.
• Participate in the development of treatment planning.
• Assist in referral to ongoing therapeutic services; lead on-site groups/activities for families and/or youth.
• Participate in care planning and case management together with Clinician and other program staff.
• Provide regular transportation for consumers as appropriate, following program guidelines and using agency and/or personal vehicle.
• Consult and collaborate with other professionals providing services to clients.
• Participate in treatment planning, team meetings, in-service trainings, and other required meetings.
