About the position

The Event Marketing Manager at Alliance Animal Health is responsible for managing all aspects of event planning and execution to enhance brand awareness and engagement among potential partners and current team members. This role requires meticulous organization, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving skills to successfully execute events that align with the company's goals and values.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of event planning logistics.
  • Plan and execute Alliance Animal Health's signature partner conference, VetTalks.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for external event vendors and internal teams to manage event logistics for tradeshows and internal signature events.
  • Handle registration for corporate and regional events, including securing booth space, travel, and logistics.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership teams across departments on marketing needs for upcoming events.
  • Plan and execute internal events and conferences to activate the network.
  • Conduct pre-event marketing for upcoming events.
  • Attend events to ensure executional excellence and occasionally act as the public face of Alliance Animal Health (up to ~30% travel expected).
  • Measure attendance and lead tracking performance of tradeshows and recruiting events.
  • Manage vendor communications for upcoming tradeshows.
  • Identify new and emerging ways to engage with potential partners and talent.

Requirements

  • 4+ years' experience in event management, marketing, conference services, or event planning.
  • Experience in the veterinary, dental, or medical industries preferred.
  • Strong communication, team-building, and leadership skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with experience creating order from disorder.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and anticipate potential outcomes while creating contingency plans.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work cross-functionally.
