Responsibilities

• Develop statistical, data mining, machine learning, and bioinformatics algorithms and software systems for biomedical discovery.
• Create computational models that correlate complex multiple-model data types for drug discovery and precision medicine.
• Collaborate with biomedical researchers and clinicians to test computational hypotheses in experimental models and patients.
• Author presentations and publications related to research projects as the lead author.
• Develop innovative algorithms in artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and other computational fields to understand genetic causes of diseases.
• Identify candidate drugs and compounds for disease treatment.
• Study the impact of environmental factors on diseases and conduct health outcomes research.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Sciences, or related field of study.
• Three years of experience as a Research Fellow, Postdoc Scholar, Graduate Research Assistant, or related role.
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, Perl, or others.
• Experience in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
• Familiarity with Bioinformatics and computer science tools.
