About the position

The Research Data Analyst at McGraw Lab plays a crucial role in managing, analyzing, and reporting data related to refractory seizure disorders. This position involves ensuring data accuracy, performing statistical analyses, and preparing reports to support decision-making for both internal and external stakeholders. The analyst will collaborate with clients to define requirements and develop standardized reporting templates, while also supervising staff and managing complex databases.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients to define requirements based on business objectives.
• Develop standardized templates, policies, and procedures for internal and external reporting.
• Design and prepare documentation for qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
• Discuss findings with senior management.
• Develop queries and quality metrics.
• Interpret results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation to more complex statistical analysis.
• Manage complex databases.
• Complete data cleaning and organize data files for analysis.
• Review data and identify quality issues.
• Present findings in an appropriate manner.
• Provide work direction and/or supervise staff such as team members, subordinates, contractors, vendors, students, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree; OR appropriate combination of education and experience.
• 2 years data analysis/report writing or similar experience required.
