As a Residential Care Worker at Maine Behavioral Healthcare, you will be an integral part of our transitional residential treatment programs designed for individuals facing mental health challenges. Our programs, which span across 12 locations from York to Belfast, are dedicated to fostering a supportive environment that encourages ongoing treatment and community integration. In this role, you will have the opportunity to significantly impact the lives of individuals by helping them enhance their overall functioning and quality of life. You will guide clients towards achieving their treatment objectives, both within the residential program and in the broader community, thereby playing a crucial role in their recovery journey and in reducing the stigma associated with mental health issues. Your responsibilities will include maintaining schedules, participating in treatment-focused supervision meetings, and assisting clients in activities that aim to achieve their treatment goals. You will also help facilitate a smooth transition for clients to a lower level of care. This dynamic position will require you to develop a comprehensive understanding of the statewide mental health system and available resources. You will provide personal care, organize appointments, and engage clients in stimulating treatment groups and community activities, creating an empowering environment that promotes growth and recovery. If you are ready to make a difference and embark on this rewarding journey, we invite you to apply and join our extraordinary team.
