Responsibilities

  • New Hires will receive $15,000 Sign-On Bonus and minimum of $6,000 for relocation to those who qualify.
  • Learn more about the Mayo Clinic Respiratory Department.
  • Experienced and New Grad Respiratory Therapist are invited to join!
  • Interview with the Hiring Leaders at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or healthcare related field is preferred.
  • Previous hospital experience preferred.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Function with initiative and independent judgment; desire for continuous quality improvement.
  • National Board for Respiratory Care Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential and active Minnesota Respiratory Therapist License (LRT) both required before first day of employment and must be maintained throughout duration of employment.
  • National Board for Respiratory Care Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential is required upon hire or by the end of one year of employment and must be maintained throughout duration of employment.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent determined by site is required.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) where applicable.
  • Additional life support certifications may be required by site of hire.

  • Additional NBRC specialty credentials preferred.
