About the position

The Retail Customer Service Associate at FedEx Office is responsible for delivering a positive customer experience by utilizing consultative skills to understand and meet customer needs. This role involves taking orders, providing product information, and recommending appropriate FedEx Office services. The associate will also operate various equipment, manage production queues, and ensure the store is clean and organized.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a positive customer experience by understanding individualized customer needs.
  • Provide expertise in printing, signs, graphics, and shipping product lines.
  • Resolve customer problems quickly and satisfactorily.
  • Take complex customer orders and provide accurate pricing information.
  • Assemble parcels and prepare goods for shipping.
  • Set up and operate printing and binding equipment.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly retail store.
  • Process financial transactions using a Point of Sale terminal (POS).
  • Clean, repair, and stock retail store equipment and supplies.
  • Stay current on retail store merchandising materials.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • 6+ months of specialized experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to stand during entire shift.
  • Ability to move and lift 55 pounds.
  • Ability to bend/twist at the waist and knees.
