About the position
At Love's, our cashiers work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean places while having friendly faces. They provide fast, friendly, and accurate services for customers. The role requires flexibility and teamwork skills, as cashiers may perform various duties depending on business needs. No experience is necessary, as we will provide training to ensure you are equipped to succeed in this position. The cashier position involves general customer service duties, including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs. Cashiers are responsible for balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while adhering to all state and local laws. Additionally, cashiers will use various methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions for our fresh food and deli products. Maintaining cleanliness is a key aspect of the job, as cashiers are responsible for cleaning their direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs. There may also be opportunities for cross-training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles. The job may require moving and lifting items weighing 25+ pounds and working in various temperatures.
Responsibilities
