About the position

The Retail Full Time Jewelry Associate at TJ Maxx is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The role involves adhering to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards while being cross-trained in multiple areas of the store to support business needs. Associates are expected to embody the company's REACH philosophy and contribute positively to the store culture.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers.
• Role model REACH principles with customers and support a positive store culture.
• Promote TJX Rewards credit and loyalty programs.
• Support and respond to Front End coverage as well as Dressing Room and Jewelry needs.
• Uphold a culture of honesty, integrity, and respect within the team.
• Communicate accurately and effectively with management and associates.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor.
• Process and prep merchandise for the sales floor following operational principles.
• Adhere to Front End policy and procedures including ringing sequence and operational controls.
• Balance register draws and/or cash office as required.
• Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
• Support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
• Identify and communicate potential safety issues immediately to management.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills and ability to engage with customers effectively.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized store environment.
• Familiarity with operational and loss prevention standards.
• Effective communication skills with management and associates.
• Ability to accept recognition and constructive feedback.
