About The Position

The Retail Merchandiser position at ESCO involves managing commissary locations on military bases, focusing on sales and marketing of consumer packaged goods. Requirements

• Access to a computer, printer, and smartphone.
• Ability to build, install, and move various racks weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to build displays with up to 40 lb case weight.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily tasks as assigned at commissary locations.
• Maintain proper call frequency to commissary locations.
• Sell and ensure proper shelf placement for all authorized items utilizing tools provided.
• Fill store shelves with back-stock if opportunities exist.
• Secure display activity and build displays as needed.
• Scan store for missing items via hand-held device and obtain missing distribution.
• Meet with each store manager as scheduled by Area Manager.
• Responsible for shelf management including facings, resets, and communication of auto replenish issues.
• Check code dates and proper rotation of products.
• Write up/return 'out of dates' as outlined in specific manufacturers' policies.
• Timely communication to Area Manager utilizing the best practice method outlined by AM.
• Sell promotions as outlined and report results to AM.
• Build displays as required and place Point of Sale as directed.
• Report low or out of stock issues to Facility Manager.
• Complete call reporting procedures technology while in store.
• Other projects/requests as assigned by management.
