About the position

The Retail Merchandising Specialist role at Premium involves representing various brands across multiple retail locations. This part-time position emphasizes flexibility, independence, and a variety of merchandising tasks aimed at enhancing product visibility and sales for clients. The role is designed for individuals who enjoy working autonomously while building relationships within the retail environment.

Responsibilities

  • Locate merchandise in the backroom of stores to place products on the floor.
  • Stock and pack out products to ensure shoppers find what they need.
  • Front face products to maintain attractive product displays.
  • Receive marketing and promotional materials at home and transport them to the store.
  • Install and place promotional materials as per instructions to enhance product visibility.
  • Set up and maintain displays for various products throughout the store.
  • Reset displays or product areas based on client needs, including full remodels.
  • Answer step-by-step questions within Premium's field technology on a mobile device during work.
  • Take photos of completed work to demonstrate success.
  • Represent Premium and its clients in retail stores within the assigned area.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Access to reliable transportation for travel between retail locations.
  • A smartphone with data and internet access for reporting and uploading photos.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in retail merchandising or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills to build relationships with store associates and managers.
